Bologna's heart

In Italy there are plenty of beautiful cities and gorgeous villages, italians can't complain about all this beauty. If art and architecture are your passions (as mine), living here means being very lucky! I've been in Bologna some days ago, one of italian biggest cities. It has always been more famous for its excellences, from food to university (one of the oldest in the world...) than for art reasons. There are many amazing buildings and precious churches indeed. Walking through city centre streets, getting lost under its magic arcades, seems that architectures join together perfectly and, in my opinion, this is its strenght! The Garisenda and Asinelli towers are the only ones breaking this magic balance! Everytime I visit this city I feel at home...maybe I lived here in my past life...who knows:)? Bologna is a very welcoming place and this feeling is clear even through who works, studies... lives here. They look comfortable in this "small big city". It offers as much as other big ones and more...turning the right corner, you could find in a quiet court that brings you back to the middle ages.
